You are required to have the following materials with you for class each day, failure to do so lowers the classwork grade

***Math Book -- McDougal Littell Pre-Algebra is to be kept at home. A class set will be used in the classroom.
***The calculator that we use each day is the Texas Instruments TI-34 II. We have a class set of these calculators, however, if you are looking to purchase a calculator for use with homework, I would recommend purchasing this model in order to have more practice with the functions the calculator offers.

Seventh grade math is a pre-algebra course. The students will gain experience in problem solving, which will prepare them for the NJ ASK as well as Algebra 1 and Geometry at the high school. Throughout this course there will also be NJ ASK Preparation Review, as well as connections to the Advanced Placement Mathematics classes in the High School.
