You are required to have the following materials with you for class each
day, failure to do so lowers the class work grade:
• agenda
• math notebook
• writing utensil (pencil and/or blue or black pen)
• POSITIVE attitude

General Information for all Classes:
*The calculator that we use in class is the Texas Instruments TI-34 II.
We have a class set of these calculators, however, if you are looking to
purchase a calculator for use with homework, I would recommend purchasing
this model in order to have more practice with the functions the
calculator offers.

*HomeschoolMath.net is a comprehensive math resource site for
home schooling parents and teachers: find free worksheets, math e-books for
elementary grades, extensive link list of games, interactive tutorials
& quizzes, curriculum guide, and teaching tips articles. The resources
emphasize understanding of concepts instead of mechanical memorization of
rules

Grading Policy:

50% tests and quizzes
20% homework
30% class participation and class work
** homework and class work may at times count as a test grade

Tutoring schedule:
TBA on a weekly basis
